"He’s out of control. I want him to stop hurting and talking to the media about the people I love."

As we mentioned yesterday, Presidential hopeful John McCain has an endorsement from Puerto Rican Reggaeton musician Daddy Yankee.

Though we've since come to find out that the McCain lover had originally offered to endorse and perform for Barack Obama.

Now, Daddy Yankee's rep is denying the reports of any initial Obama support.

Mayna Nevarez says that the story "is completely false. Our camp never approached the Obama camp. The Obama and Clinton camps were calling our office before the Puerto Rican primary, trying to get Yankee to endorse them. The McCain camp approached us, as well."

We find it hard to believe that Obama's people would want to be associated with Daddy Yankee!

Nevarez adds, "Yankee considered all the proposals and he liked McCain's. That's why he decided to endorse him. There was never an offer to endorse Obama. That never happened."

NBC has responded to complaints and claims that its Olympics coverage was tinged with some homophobia.

The net's Olympics President, Gary Zenkel, issued an apology for the NBC reporting team's failure to mention on air that gold-medal diver Matthew Mitcham is gay and has a partner, who was there rooting him on. That's in stark contrast to the Peacock nets coverage of straight athletes an their partner.

Says the NBC rep:

“We regret that we missed the opportunity to tell Matthew Mitcham’s story. We apologize for this unintentional omission.”

Sorry is not good enough!

NBC should also make a promise to be more inclusive when the next Olympic games - the Winter games - roll around.

That would be a positive step!

OOOh La La!

A Coco Chanel biopic backed by Warner Bros. called Coco Avant Chanel will start filming in Paris on September 15th.

French beauty Audrey Tautou (who is also the face of Chanel No. 5) will be playing the role of Coco.

The film will feature dresses from the Chanel collection.

No surprise!

Uncle Karl Lagerfeld will supervise the re-creation of costumes and accessories.

Can't wait to see the flick.

With the lack of new and original television shows, and with millions of people traveling this Labor Day weekend, TV execs are resorting to reruns for Monday's lineup.

More specifically, Marathons.

It looks like the majority of the top cable networks are all going to be airing endless marathons.

Do you love CSI? Well, Spike TV will air a CSI marathon on Monday from 9am til 10pm.

How about Scrubs? You can catch that marathon Monday on TV Land for seven full hours.

TNT will be airing 12 episode of The Closer starting at 9am, but they'll at least end with a new episode at 9pm.

Oh, and do you still love the '80s?

VH1 Classic hopes you do. They'll be airing 80 Hours of the '80s starting Friday at 4pm! It'll consist of only songs from the '80s with hopefully few repeats.

But even MORE exciting, SOAPNet will be airing a 24 hour special of the original Beverly Hills, 90210.

It's war!

Horror novelist Clive Barker is very unhappy with Hollywood studio Lionsgate.

According to the novelist, the studio effed over a film remake of one of his books so the studio's president Joe Drake could pump up his own ego films.

Yikes! That's some claim!

The Midnight Meat Train, the flick inspired by the Barker book of the same name, was pushed from a release of May 16th to August 1st and was only released at 102 second-run and dollar theaters across the land.

Ouch!

Despite the super limited release, several screenings were viewed by sold-out audiences.

Barker says:

He is “very proud that the movie is surviving the nonsense. People are getting to see the movie. It’s sort of starting to have a cult life.” He’s less positive in his feelings for Drake, calling him “small-minded” and a “nobody.”

“There’s room for everything. You don’t have to sh– on somebody else’s work to advance your own material..director Ryuhei Kitamura “made a f—ing great movie, and the politics that are being visited upon it have nothing to do with the movie at all. This is all about ego, and though I mourn the fact that ‘Midnight Meat Train’ was never given its chance in theaters, it’s a beautifully stylish, scary movie, and it isn’t going anywhere. People will find it, and whether they find it in midnight shows or they find it on DVD, they’ll find it, and in the end the Joe Drakes of the world will disappear.”

A spokesperson for Lionsgate declined to comment.

Matthew McConaughey isn't the only fame-seeker in his family!

His mom, Kay McConaughey, has just released her new book, I Amaze Myself.

How amazing!

In the book, she talks about her son's conception. Yea, Cause we really care to read that.

She says she got pregnant with Matthew shortly after marrying his dad for the third time. Third time????

Kay recalls, “I was deciding, ‘Do I want to have another baby? Do I want to have an affair? Or go back to school?’. That’s when Matthew was conceived. We had tried for 16 years and no baby. So Matthew was a big surprise!”

And then the sex-loving mom drops a bombshell.

She says back in 1992, her husband died while they were having sex!

The 77 year old Kay recalls, “On Monday mornings, he and I often said goodbye by making love. But one day, all of a sudden, it just happened. I knew that something was wrong, because I didn’t hear anything from him. Just nothing."

How sad….and unusual!

She adds, "But it was just the best way to go!”

Not too sure how we feel about knowing that. But, here's the really weird part. When she realized she couldn't revive him and that her husband was dead, Momma McConogay didn't bother to cover him up.

She let the paramedics take him naked.

She says, “I was just so proud to show off my big old Jim McConaughey — and his gift."

We're trying to erase the mental picture from our mind.

She also adds, “I would love to be on Oprah!”

And now we know why she wrote the book!

Who DOESN'T wanna be on Oprah???? Well, besides Stedman Graham!
